Community

Calgary has a dynamic, exciting dance community and many of the organizations driving that scene have either been founded by, are connected to, or currently employ alumni, faculty or students from the Faculty of  Arts and the Dance Department at the University of Calgary.

The B.A. Dance Program exists within a much broader community of dance practice locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally. While students are immersed in the details of their study here at the University of Calgary, the Department also engages with this broader community through program offerings such as practicum and independent study courses, the research and service work of dance faculty members, and the Urban Dance Connect.
